As I always encourage you all to network as much as possible, it will pay off in the future. I was recently interviewed by the owner of a cosmetic company called B Beauty Bar. This company focuses on creating specialty products for women of color. I was just getting ready to shoot an upcoming band called “Ms. Kennedy” when my interview started. So I took about 20 minutes out of setting up the photo shoot, to answer some questions for B Beauty Bars’ 1st beauty of the month.

I’m proud to have been asked to be featured on their website, and I’m sharing this with you because you can start getting free press as well!! This is an article I can now use in my portfolio. So once you start meeting people and getting your name in front of the right people, you will be able to use this information to strengthen your portfolio!
