This time I filmed a small feature about my Corvette C6 and I examined, that automotive movies are not really my case.

The efforts to get a few good shots, are very high and it took me several shooting days, to get the material together.

The workflow for this movie was also a little bit strange. The different footages were totally different from each other, especially the light situations.

Therefore I converted all shots into image sequences which I pre-graded in Lightroom, to achieve a general (more or less) flawless look.

To adapt the settings to each shot, was a pain in the ass, but in AE it would have taken much longer, I guess.

Afterwards I final graded the material in After Effects, but there it took me just a few clicks in Magic Bullet Looks.

Equipment used:
EOS 7D,
Tokina AT-X 165 PRO DX, 16-50mm, F2.8
Kenko Polarizer,
EF 70-300mm/4.5-5.6 IS USM,
B+W MRC Polarizer, slim,
Manfrotto 190 DB tripod,
Manfrotto 701 HDV videohead,
Manfrotto 808 RC4 3way-head,
JJC-TM-A remote switch/timer,
Cam-Slider.

Shot at ISO 100/200/400, 1/125, f2.8/f4.0/f5.6,
23.976 fps, manual WB, superflat picture style,
edited in Canopus Edius, graded in
Lightroom Beta 3 and After Effects/MB Looks.
